Former Colorado state Senate Minority Leader Mike Feeley said the about former Colorado state Senator Joan Johnson after her death on May 23, 2008:
"It wasn't that she didn't suffer fools gladly; it was that she didn't suffer fools at all."
Johnson was a very popular and successful legislator. One of her biggest successes was carrying the law that allows people to receive one free copy of their credit report.
Madam Johnson, I believe you will be deeply missed.
